I went from knowing nothing about mixing and mastering to feeling confident that - with practice - I will be able to prepare musical pieces for completion on a professional level. Chris is an ideal instructor, breaking down the various steps and tools used to mix and master music into logically ordered, bite-sized lessons that even a non-technical person can grasp. I love Chris’s style as well. If the composition and orchestration made up the first 80% of music creation, mixing & mastering comprise the final 20%. 

Mixing is our opportunity to take the individual instruments we've recorded and polish them into a cohesive whole, creating a satisfying listening experience from start to finish.

Without a proper mix, we can be left with a track that sounds incomplete and unbalanced, with the individual parts all separated and failing to work together in a satisfying way.
